Busan Day 2: BIFF- Gukje Market- Yongdusan- Jalgachi

BIFF, Gukje Market and Changseondong Meokja Golmok are all near to each other.

We started our day 2 by heading to Changseondong Meokja Golmok for breakfast. We passed by BIFF for ice cream and then the eatery alley, last with Gukje Market.

kelam kabut in the subway ticket vending machine to buy the one-way-ticket. One day pass is not worth it since we didn't go so many stations.

We reached BIFF around 10am yet many stalls arent open?? I asked the ice cream man yet I dont think he quite get me? He told me that the stalls open at 7am? loll

The famous Ssiak Hotteok Stall in BIFF? Hopefully we didnt get the wrong stall.

I was expecting wayyyy more for this :(

The 3,000 won capsule ice cream that's nice but pricey!

After we purchased our ice cream, then we found the eatery alley for our breakfast. Basically, you can see a group of ahjummas selling the same thing.

The lucky stall that we chose. The food there is kinda cheap.

I kept slurping the noodles and drinking the soup. however, since I tried this type of noodles several times during my busan trip. This isn't the best one yet it still taste quite alright especially when your stomach is empty

Rice wrapped with seaweed served with some kimchi. Theres this chewy kimchi and i think is cuttlefish. (Y)! specialll

Me and Ai wee  with our food

Then, we went walk around the market to shop and also ended up with more random food that we saw.

Korean Pancake

Us snacking again

A close up of the pancake.

More random snack along the way haha

We were quite full when we reached this stall but I really wanted to try tteokbokki and of course we ordered one to share.

the rice cake was bigger and fatter than the ones I ate in Malaysia.

and yes, we stopped at a quite crowded noodle shop to try their food. Quite (Y)

I guess this kimbap tasted quite good but we were dead full. >_<

We dropped the Lotte Mart and Department Store nearby and bought lotsaaaaaa snacks back. The snacks were cheaper than usual.
ps: It is the only and nearest Lotte Mart near our hotel and i regretted not buying more Lotte brand snacks that time:(

I thought we had enough of eating yet seems like it was time to find a cafe for aiwee's bingsu and also let the adults to rest.

so we ordered this red bean bingsu and eat again

Then after a good rest at the cafe, we random walk and end up near the entrance of Busan Tower, Yongdusan. We weren't planning to go but since we reached. of course, we should pay a visit! The weather was really nice so walking wasnt too much of a problem.

Next stop, Jalgachi Fish market for dinner! It was windyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy and cold >_<
The fish market is kinda big and this is jut a portion of it

Hi octopus:)

We then chose to eat in this grilled eel restaurant flooded with locals.

The complementary soup with really smalllll 'lala' that tasted like sea water. haha

Our grilled eel with red pepper sauce! I was glad we went for this with the help of this Korean lady that helped us to order. One of the waitress there didnt let us order a small portion -__- Put that aside, this eel tasted nothing like unagi. It had the texture of a really chewy Squid!

We added on rice towards the end :D Not bad not bad:3
ps: Koreans really eat quite alot. lolll

Us travelling back to Seomyeon Station after the dinner :)

After the adults head back to rest, me, ai wee and foong continued to walk without the adults! :DD

We ordered this bingsu in Angel in us coffee cafe :3 it was really good. the frozen cheesecake was good!  <3

Satisfying ending with a great bingsu to mark the end of our Day 2.

Busan Day 1: Seomyeon Area

Despite with the overwhelming negative MERS news, we decided to further proceed with our plan to Busan. Reading through and understanding how MERS spread made me slightly more confident to travel there. But it is obvious that MERS did affect foreigners and locals.. our plane was kinda empty when we flew to Busan.

 arrival hall

Our day 1 was kinda simple and casual. We reached our hotel, Shin Shin hotel around 4-5pm and decided to just random walk around our hotel area to explore. We headed there with taxi with a charge of 20,000won.

Driver on the left :)

The Bujeon Market was just right beside our hotel.

Seafood

More seafood and a variety of kimchi

cute mushrooms!:D

The greenish is made out of a type of vegetable which  tasted kinda weird to me. It looks kinda cute and the red bean filling is bit little. Buying for the sake of trying

Beef noodle

Pumpkin porridge that didnt taste as good as the one I ate in Seoul. I still miss that alot!

Group picture @ the market!

After the market, we went to explore the other part of Seomyeon.

Us with our food and fancy drink after attacking a convenience stall

I bought this cause I miss the exact same one that I ate in Seoul yet it was tastier last time. It was quite sweet this time.

We stopped by a typical looking street food stall for some fried items. We were like mad people being all excited with random food and kept eatingggg like a mad cow

I like the fried kimbap!

Chicken bibimbap and classic bibimbap with kimchi and radish

We girls shared a bowl of kimchi soup with rice. We were dead full.

We also dropped by the Lotte Department Stall nearby yet we were disappointed cause it closes at 8pm! We only had 10mins when we reached there :((

There goes our Day 1.

“It’s your mind. It’s your will.''

by Baki Zainal

:)

Different Melaka Feel

For this melaka trip, I went with my ex-colleagues.

I would say this melaka trip is rather different from my usual melaka trip thanks to them since they cant be eating the usual food that my friends and I will eat if we head to Melaka.

It is a good thing for me! Since Im free and we aren't exactly going all the same places:)

Taman Mini Malaysia

I wouldnt personally go to this taman or enjoy this place, yet this place turned our to be our photo shooting session.

Adult Entrance Fee: RM18
Student Entrance Fee: RM12

Rumah Sarawak! The only rumah that I really enjoy going in and explore ;3

Inside of the rumah melayu of different states, you can see lotsa different traditional items

My fav pic of the day thanks to hazrah! :)

Muara Sg Durung

We had our Seafood Lunnnnnnnnner in this place. This place is kinda inside yet it was really crowded during dinner time. Luckily we went around 5pm.

Views of this place !

Time to Choose!

We had like nasi lemakS, otak-otak, 1kg of lala, 1kg of kerang, o,5 kg of prawns, small piece of stringray, vege, steamed fish, 7 medium sized fried squids for 6 of us with a total bill of RM189. :O

The squids were fresh! otak-otak was goood. Lala and kerang were so so. the stringray ikan bakar was disappointing for me. I was hoping it to taste the best! :(((((  anyway not a bad spot to eat, just it is kinda far from town.

Taming Sari

Another famous Melaka spot that I have never been to since people around me arent interested with this. Anyhow I didnt ride on it too.

It was RM15 with MyKad with 7 minutes viewing time when you are at the top.

Huda, Ainul and Hazrah went for it and they said it was kinda good. They were given real good binoculars, two bottle of waters and cupcakes.

Us at the bottom of Taming Sari

Jonker street & Walk along the riverside

My first time walking Jonker Street at night.
It was ..... Crowded and uncomfortable!
I prefer to go jonker street during the daytime although usually it is burning hot there.
I enjoyed walking the riverside with the girls more than walking the night jonker street.

The jambatan pasar that reminds me of your pose hahahaaha

We went back to jonker street the next morning for Jonker 88's Nyonya Laksa since Zura wanted to eat something savory.

They ended up falling in love with the durian puffs after their first bite

To prove that we been here lol

A Famosa

Hazrah was insisting to pay a visit to this place. And I cant recall about this place. After I reached this place, I was like 'ohhhhhhhhhhhh, i been to this place before!''

We didnt climb up anyway. Too hot, the girls didnt wanna walk.

The 'beach' in front of Bustel, Klebang

A nice place to chillax. We were too full so we stopped by here for awhile before heading to coconut milkshake.

This trip will be better if she didnt say several sorries to me. lol
