Kopitiam Random Thought

I really wanna tell my mum just now when we were in the kopitiam that I am curious with my future. But my mouth didnt open up in the end.

I wonder what am I going to do..

Seeing an Indian waiter seems to be kinda enjoying serving people coffee in the kopitiam makes me wonder....

Seeing ladies making noodles for living makes me wonder...

Seeing a pair of mother and daughter makes me wonder... having a daughter is a good idea to kill boredom? daughters are the ones that need to accompany mum when needed?

Days ago, I heard this from a DJ of a radio station. DJ B's wife just gave birth to a girl so DJ A asked DJ B,'' whats your feeling of having a daughter? You know that a guy will take her away from you in the future.'' DJ B replied,'' Dont talk about it ,''

The question now is 'what will happen if I am not around to accompany my mum'. She doesnt really have anyone that really stands by her.

Many elderly raised their children in their own way... made them study hard... make sure the children find good jobs.. and then the children really have a good job... find their partner... have their own family... then they forget about their original family... forget about their parents... and leave the elderly sadly waiting for their returns on weekends and festivals so that everyone can reunite.

parents are wei da... till a point I dont understand whats the use of raising a children.. especially a child that doesnt care for his or her families. but of course, there are also lucky parents that have really good children that always care for them all the time. Those are the lucky ones... but this doesnt always happen...

So next question:  How are my future kids going to treat me when I am old ?
